The draw for the ABM AMRO World Tennis Tournament has been made and Marcos will face American James Blake in a tricky first-round clash at the ATP World Tour 500 indoor hard-court tournament.
The 32-man field is led by new World No. 2 Novak Djokovic, with fellow Top 10 members Nikolay Davydenko and Robin Soderling also featuring in a strong line-up.
Marcos is placed in the bottom half of the draw and could face the No. 6-ranked Davydenko in the second round, should the in-form Russian overcome Spaniard Feliciano Lopez.
Also in the bottom half of the draw are No. 3 seed and 2009 Roland Garros finalist Robin Soderling, seventh seed Ivan Ljubicic and eighth seed Viktor Troicki.
