Marcos has withdrawn from the doubles event at the Gerry Weber Open due to a lower back injury. He and Olivier Rochus had been due to play No. 2 seeds Martin Damm and Filip Polasek on Tuesday in Halle.
Instead, Marcos will receive the necessary treatment on his back to ensure he is fighting fit for his next tournament, the UNICEF Open, which begins on Sunday in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
