Marcos will begin his Open 13 campaign on Monday evening in Marseille when he takes on German Daniel Brands in the first round of the ATP World Tour 250 indoor hard-court tournament.
The 22-year-old Brands is currently No. 97 in the South African Airways 2010 ATP Rankings, six places down on the career high he reached last month. The German is bidding for his first ATP World Tour win of the season after three successive first-round exits in Chennai, at the Australian Open and in Zagreb.
Marcos will face Brands for the first time and will look to keep building on his strong start to the season at a tournament where he has performed well in the past, reaching the final in 2007 and the semi-finals in 2008.
The match is scheduled for the first in the evening session on centre court on Monday in Marseille, with play beginning not before 6:45 pm local time (+1 hr GMT). Check out the full order of play here.
