Seeded fourth, Marcos will make his debut appearance in Newport. He has a first-round bye and opens against either home hope Austin Krajicek or a qualifier. A quarter-final clash against seventh seed Dudi Sela or two-time champion Rajeev Ram potentially awaits, with big-serving Ivo Karlovic also lurking in his half of the draw.
Marcos owns a 4-4 record on grass this year, having reached the quarters in both Halle and Nottingham.
