Marcos will look to win his second ATP Challenger Tour title of the season on Sunday when he faces Farrukh Dustov in the final of the Odlum Brown VanOpen in Vancouver.
On Saturday, Marcos overcame Ruben Bemelmans 4-6, 6-1, 7-6(4) in the semi-finals, hitting 12 aces and breaking serve twice for victory in just over two hours.
Marcos returned to action in June with victory on grass at the Nottingham Challenger and this week has made another successful return on the ATP Challenger Tour. He is looking to lift the Vancouver trophy for the second time, following victory in 2009 (d. Malisse).
Marcos will play Dustov for the first time. The match is scheduled for third on after a 12noon start in Vancouver.
