Marcos returns to action this week at the ATP World Tour 250 clay-court tournament in Houston, where he was awarded a wild card.
On his first appearance in Houston since 2006, Marcos will open his campaign against Colombian Alejandro Gonzalez. Should he advance, he would face fifth-seeded Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in the second round. Second seed Tommy is also in Marcos’ quarter of the draw, while John Isner is the top seed and defending champion.
Marcos will face Gonzalez on Monday evening in Houston, in the second match after 6pm (GMT -5hrs). It will be their first meeting.
