Marcos is in action this week at the Delray Beach Open by The Venetian® Las Vegas in Florida. Marcos is playing this ATP World Tour 250 tournament for the second time, having reached the quarter-finals in 2009 (l. to Chardy).
Marcos opens his campaign on Tuesday against the 2013 ATP rising star Jiri Vesely. Marcos is playing the 20-year-old Vesely for the first time. World No. 77 Vesely is coming off a second-round exit in Memphis (l. to Sock) and is looking to build on his breakthrough in 2013, when he finished World No. 85 after starting the season outside the Top 250.
