The draw for the Brisbane International has been made and in the first round of the ATP World Tour 250 tournament, Marcos will face American Mardy Fish.
As both Marcos and Fish are unseeded, fourth-seeded Czech Tomas Berdych lies in wait for the winner in the second round, with the prospect of facing Brazilian No. 8 seed Thomaz Bellucci in the quarter-finals.
Marcos is in the same half of the draw as top seed and world No. 7 Andy Roddick, whom he yesterday labelled as the biggest threat in the 32-man field. Defending champion Radek Stepanek heads up the bottom half of the draw, which also features third seed Gael Monfils, fifth seed Sam Querrey and seventh seed Jeremy Chardy.

Play at the first ATP World Tour event of the 2010 season gets underway Sunday at the Queensland Tennis Centre, but Marcos is not scheduled to play on the opening day.
